| Born in Berlin-Charlottenburg,
Germany in 1912, Hermann studied at the University of Berlin from which
he graduated in 1935. In his long and varied life he has taught art,
done preservation and restoration work and traveled extensively. In
1953 he was named to the Universal Lexicon of Famous Artists of the
20th Century and has continued to paint and exhibit widely.
Clearly his work pays homage to his European background and subject
matter. |
